I will be in Nashville, for their Pagan Pride Day on September 13th and in Bethlehem Pennsylvannia at a shop called *Ostara, on September 26 and 27.
In October I go to Birmingham Alabama, and will be attending two seperate Witches Balls, One in St. Louis, Missouri and another in Birmingham, AL.
I'll be closing up the touring in November by lecturing on Witchcraft at a University in Missouri. They contacted me- and then pitched the lecture to me--how cool is that?
Natural Witchery has won a 2008 Coalition of Visionary Resources (COVR) Award for "Best Book in the Wicca/ Paganism" category!
I just had this confirmed last night and wanted to pass along the news. I can hardly believe it two COVR Awards in 2 years. Last year my, The Enchanted Cat won in the "2007 Best Book Magick/ Shamnism" category --and this year Natural Witchery ties for the win in the "2008 Best Book Wicca/ Paganism" category!
Just got back home from a festival in Tennessee called PUF (Pagan Unity Festival) I met some faboulous people and had a chance to hang out with my friend Christopher Penczak. He hasn't seen me since February and I've lost more weight- so to my delight he did not recognize me at first.
Finished the edits on "A Garden Witch's Herbal" yesterday- got them approved so I will have that off my desk shortly- and then I can get back to my next book project. I have an outline done and the introduction written and tapping it's foot impatiently at me. So It's driving mne carzy and stressing me out a bit to not be able to dive back in.
But once I re-print out the edits and ship them off to Llewellyn this week I will be good to go and the other new book project can commence. I am including a new picture of me and Christopher that was taken a couple of days ago. Wishing everyone a magickal spring!
Oh yes, This just in . I will be the keynote Speaker at the Nasville Pagan Pride Day on September 13th!
Well Spring tour season is finally winding down. It's good to be home again and I am really looking forward to working in the new gardens, doing the edits for "A Garden Witch's Herbal" and just puttering.
I have been to California, Texas, Salem, Massachusetts, Illinois and Alabama, in the past 2 months so it's fabulous to be home and just relax and take it easy. I'm taking a hiatus from public teaching for a while and recharging and resting up.
The release date for my 10th book, A Garden Witch's Herbal is May 2009. This summer I'll be starting yet another book project and I can hardly wait.
Above is a picture of me on the beach at Salem-that was taken a week ago. The beach is called Waikiki beach because it is crescent shaped and the sand has a purple tinge from all the shells. I uploaded a few other new pictures too. I hope you will enjoy them.
